During 2020, Consilium Safety Group was acquired by Nordic Capital. With strong investors in our back and a transformative growth journey ahead, we are now looking to add a team member to further strengthen the Project Management Office (PMO). The team acts as the extended arm of the Executive Management Team, supporting with strategic projects, value creation planning and M&A. The role will cover a wide scope as you will be involved in the entire process from strategy definition to execution and follow-up, spanning over different markets, functions and segments. In parallel to this, you will support the M&A strategy and process from target screening to integration.
Key responsibilities:
- As a part of the corporate development and M&A team, you will work closely with the CEO and Management Team, with main responsibility to support and drive the strategic direction and the M&A agenda
- Act as a strategic sounding board for key stakeholders across the organization – at HQ and the local offices
- Prepare analyses and decision material for the Management Team and Board, including establishing a close relationship with the operations team of Nordic Capital
- Support the team with M&A activities from screening to integration planning
- Improve project management capabilities throughout the organization and drive transformation by inspiring, supporting and training colleagues
- In general terms, the scope of the role is broad, however examples of activities and projects are; market assessments and go-to-market strategy, business plan development, cost benchmarking, prepare and lead management workshops, support and guide local managers, KPI-dashboards and more
- You will be reporting to the Head of Corporate Development and M&A
Prerequisites and preferred skills:
- Master's degree from a top university within business or/and engineering
- 1-2 years of experience from working with strategy in a leading management consulting firm or equivalent
- Excellent analytical capabilities with both quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills
- Ability to navigate in an ambiguous and complex business environment, with skills of balancing details and pragmatism
- Strong team player with a “roll-up-your-sleeve” attitude
- Business sense, the ability to quickly grasp complex problems in a diverse range of industries
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience of managing dialogues with executive stakeholders
- Humble, creative and able to work independently
- Motivated, with a strong personal drive and ambition
- Entrepreneurial spirit and the interest to be part of a growing team
- High proficiency in the Office-package, incl. Excel and PowerPoint
- Willingness to travel
