The role

As a thesis student at Consilium you will join in one of our global teams and work closely with our specialists. You will take ownership of your project but also join in on other projects and tasks within the team. We are searching for thesis projects within the areas:

• R&D (We (Electronics, Mechanics and Software) develop exciting technology aimed for harsh environment for instance explosive and marine environments. Some thesis areas are: Open air heat/smoke detection (Software and/or Electronics), LoRa mech network (Software and/or Electronics), Detect persons, measure air quality etc. from a detector (Electronics and/or Software), explore Rust usage in our environment (Software), Hot swap casing (Mechanics), Control module user experience (Industrial design)
• Quality (We continuously improve the way we work and our products, with a strong process focus. With the use of Six Sigma and PDCA/DMAIC/Black belt/Green belt projects, we keep raising the bar in our production sites and market companies around the world. Several interesting projects are available!)
• Digital services (We are moving into the IoT world, much like the rest of the world, and through this we are looking at different services that we can provide thanks to the data we collect. Our services are today developed in Azure using Azure Functions, App Services, Stream Analytics, Azure SQL, Azure Cosmos and other services in the Azure Cloud.)

Who are you?

As a person, you are both eager to contribute and filled with new ideas. You have a high level of technical knowledge and know how within your field. You are professional, a fast learner and a good communicator. You need to be fluent in English (speech and writing), meritorious if fluent in Swedish. We also see that you are genuinely interested in our area of business and developing our structure and processes along with us.

For thesis students we have a model for reimbursement where you receive a fixed amount of 10 000 SEK starting your project and 20 000 SEK after thesis examination. You will furthermore receive company benefits and take part of our newly renovated facilities in Gothenburg.
