We are now looking for an experienced and hands on Electrical Project Engineer to join our Team in the Netherlands. In this position you will be responsible for our projects from handover from the Sales Department, until the system has been commissioned and handed over to the customer. This includes creating project timelines with key dates, milestones, and risk factors. You will order all “in-house” and “open market” materials required to complete the project in time and budget, keeping to internal procedures and using Consilium approved software. The role also involves creating 2D technical and electrical drawings along with other documentation as per project requirements and Consilium policies. You will also assist in training co-workers and external customers when needed and perform additional duties as required.
The Electrical Project Engineer is able to design fire and gas systems according to specifications, create document and drawing packages and ensure orders are built and commissioned to customer and project requirements. As part of the project department, they will create the bridge between sales and after sales. Working directly with internal departments and external clients to ensure all projects are undertaken on time and within budget.
Who are we looking for?
You have obtained a bachelor’s degree with an electrical discipline or minimum five years of proven experience working with electrical systems. You have knowledge of electrical/electronic components and equipment, including the use of unique instruments for diagnostic purposes. You are well familiar with international & local shipping rules and properties of various materials. Previous experience and ability to work in a fast-paced technical environment is preferred. You are well organized and able to learn and work well in a team. You are used to make accurate decisions, often under pressure, always with the costumer in mind. You have a pro-active attitude regarding safety. You contribute to accident prevention and safety awareness and keeps the workspace in a safe, clean and tidy condition. A valid drivers license is required for this position and work authorization for the Netherlands, and you will report to the General Manager.
Knowledge of or experience with the following is an advantage:
- Fire and Gas detection systems
- Programming (function block diagram, structured text)
- Electrical/ instrumentation panel design
