As we continue to expand our operations, we are seeking a passionate Sales Manager to join our team.
In this role, you'll devise and implement a local sales strategy to enhance our product portfolio sales for existing and new customers. Your expertise will drive tailored solution selling for our diverse customer base. Your role includes gathering customer insights for internal adjustments, analyzing market data, and exploring new business opportunities. Furthermore, you will cultivate strong relationships with clients and agents, and attend various industry-related events such as conferences, workshops, exhibitions, and trade shows. Domestic and international travel requirements.

Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have a background in the marine industry, possessing technical qualifications and sales experience. Furthermore, we believe that having the following attributes will be advantageous:
· A bachelor's degree in a technical or business field, or equivalent work life experience
· A track record in business development in an industrial or engineering B2B environment
· Demonstrated capability of working/negotiating with senior decision-makers, such as Procurement Leads and Fleet Managers
· Experience interpreting and negotiating contracts
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office/CRM
If you have previous Naval experience or have worked with Shipbuilders, Integrators(installers) , Navy primes or Shipowners you will have an advantageous edge in this process. Sales experience within the maritime (navy) sector is meritorious, as well as technical expertise in safety systems.
This role is based in Sydney, Australia.
