We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Leader to join our team in Finland. Reporting to the Managing Director, the Project Leader will be responsible for day to day project activities including system design, time scheduling, purchasing, sales support functions, material handling activities and surveys on board.
The Role
- Organize, lead, design and monitor both new buildings and retrofits marine and land projects.
- Efficient and timely processing of project orders and planning schedules to ensure on-time delivery and execution.
- Organizes and monitors all items received from suppliers.
- As our Project Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients receive exceptional service and their needs are met in a timely and efficient manner.
- Collect and store all required documentation for projects in company's CRM software.
- Evaluate all relevant documentation for projects produce a final documentation.
- Process incoming purchase orders from customers, verifying part numbers, pricing, shipping requirements, lead time, tracking and others.
- Order entry in company's EPR system.
- Prepare purchase orders to suppliers and verify order confirmations.
- Tracking back-orders.
- Support sales organization by delivering relevant information for calculations.
- Designing of project drawings both safety and navigation products by AutoCAD design software.
- Pick orders for shipping as needed, ensure proper labels and paperwork have been applied before shipping and examine outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.
Who are you?
- Minimum of 3-4 years' experience in a related position
- Technical education background of the Design Engineer in Electronic or Automation.
- Project leading experience is considered an asset.
- Excellent AutoCAD skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Methodical approach to problem-solving and decision-making, demonstrating sound judgment.
- Ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to work effectively as a team member while also being self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Strong computer skills in AutoCAD, basic office and Microsoft Office
