About the Role
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Marine Field Service Technician to deliver expert electrical and electronic support across our product and service portfolio.
In this role, you will troubleshoot, test, repair, and maintain advanced systems, ensuring our solutions operate at peak performance and continue to safeguard critical environments worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose and repair electrical/electronic systems, including PLCs, control systems, power supplies, drives, and instrumentation.
Installation & Commissioning: Install and commission systems safely, following company procedures and relevant safety standards.
Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with international and local maritime regulations; advise customers on safe equipment handling.
Parts & Documentation: Source required parts and tools, and document all service activities in CRM systems accurately and efficiently.
Technical Support: Provide clear and reliable technical support to customers, service teams, and sales — both remotely and on-site.
Training & Knowledge Sharing: Support training initiatives for colleagues and customers.
Travel & Logistics: Plan and manage travel arrangements in a cost-effective and efficient manner.
Workplace Safety: Maintain a clean and safe work environment and actively contribute to safety improvements.
Additional Tasks: Take on other responsibilities as needed to support the business.
Your Profile
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics or at least 3 years of relevant hands-on experience
Experience from the marine industry is an advantage
Strong knowledge of PLC programming and computer systems
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions under pressure
Strong organizational, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
Customer-focused mindset with excellent communication skills
Fluent in English (required)
Working Conditions
Employment Type: Full-time
Working Hours: Flexible, evening and weekend work may be required on short notice
Work Environment: On-site work in varied environments, including vessels and outdoor conditions
Travel: Extensive domestic and international travel is expected
Physical Requirements: Includes lifting, climbing, and working in physically demanding environments
