About the Role

We are looking for a Finance Assistant (Student) to join our Nordic Accounting Team in Gothenburg. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a student who wants to gain practical experience in accounting and finance while continuing their studies.

As a Finance Assistant (Student), you will support the team with a variety of finance-related and administrative tasks and act as a flexible resource in the daily work of the accounting team. The role provides hands-on exposure to accounting processes such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, and basic bookkeeping.

You will become part of the Nordic Accounting Team, consisting of approximately 12 colleagues working within accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting. The team is responsible for the accounting and reporting for several Nordic companies and collaborates closely with other functions across the organization.

What You Will Do

Support the team with tasks related to Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable (AR/AP)

Assist with invoice registration and payment processing

Perform basic bookkeeping and administrative finance tasks

Support reconciliations and recurring accounting processes

Assist the accounting team with various finance and administrative tasks

Who We’re Looking For

We are looking for a motivated and structured student who is interested in gaining experience in accounting and financial processes, and who is proactive and eager to learn in a team environment.

You are likely:

Currently studying Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least 2–3 years remaining in your studies

Have an interest in accounting and financial processes

Have basic knowledge of Excel

Are detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage several tasks simultaneously

Communicate well in both Swedish and English

Working Arrangement

We are looking for a student who can:

Start during spring 2026, working approximately one day per week

Work full-time during July and part of August

Continue to work approximately one day per week after the summer

The position is based in Gothenburg, and you are expected to work primarily from the office.

This setup allows you to gain valuable practical experience while continuing your studies.
