UniPOS LTD Bulgaria was established in 1995, and its main activity is to design, manufacture, and sell a range of high-tech fire alarm solutions for commercial and industrial applications. The company has production facilities in Pleven, which are based on the "under one roof" model and applies highly efficient process and quality management methods. UniPOS LTD Bulgaria is a pioneer in the field of technical development and manufacturing of safety products, and our personnel are highly professional.
Since 2021, UniPOS has been an important part of the Consilium Safety Group, a leading Swedish group in the field of safety technology for the marine, oil and gas, transport, and construction sectors.

We are currently looking for a motivated employee to join our team of professionals in the position of:
Head of Quality
Location: Pleven factory
Competence
Education in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics with bachelor or preferably masters, or similar work experience in suitable fields, e.g., Quality Engineer
Education and workable knowledge of Lean / Six Sigma philosophy and tools; Six Sigma Black Belt or Green Belt is an advantage
Experience in electronics is an advantage
Theoretical and practical experience of change management and process mapping
Good knowledge and understanding of quality work, audits, management reviews; including standards such as ISO9001 and ISO14001
Good knowledge in business systems e.g., SharePoint, ERP, MS Office, including understanding of Key Performance Indicators
Systematic approach to work, organized, analytical, self-starter/self-going, able to collaborate
Leadership skills: Guiding and inspiring teams to improve quality and aligning them with strategic goals
Communication: Effectively sharing information and understanding roles within the team and across departments
Problem-Solving: Analyzing quality processes, identifying problems, and creating solutions
Critical Thinking: Assessing situations and making informed decisions to enhance quality processes
Team Collaboration: Building ownership and fostering a preventive culture within the team
Very good level of English both written and spoken
Responsibility
Develop, implement, and manage a quality management system
Manage, plan and support audits / certifications, being the primary contact for all our certification bodies
Help develop standards through process mapping and improvement, and support its implementation
Be the quality support for all system and process related questions
Align with Global Quality on activities, projects, and quality improvement projects globally in order to help reach set company targets
Work with and promote a continuous improvement mindset within the whole organization, e.g. with use of PDCA boards and DMAIC projects
Drive and coordinate projects to improve processes. This also includes help to identify potential new projects
Help with certain supplier and / or customer audits
Make sure Quality KPI reporting is correct and delivered on time
Authority
Develop, update, and manage the quality management systems
Take appropriate actions to support local laws and requirements
Directly inform Global Quality Manager about any possible safety or quality breaches of our processes, that could lead to potential safety related failure or serious non-conformity
