Project Engineer
Join us in protecting people, values, and the planet.
At Consilium Safety Group, we don’t just create technology — we develop solutions that save lives and protect the environment. With over 100 years of expertise, Consilium is a global leader in fire and gas safety technology, serving industries such as marine, energy, rail, and construction.
We are now looking for a Project Engineer to join our team in Germany.
As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in managing projects and creating technical documentation across various marine segments — including navy, cruise, gas systems, wind farms, and offshore. Project scopes range from 150 to 2,000 hours, offering great variety and challenge. You’ll be part of an energetic and collaborative team that fosters growth and innovation, focusing on delivering technical solutions in fire and gas detection and complementary products like navigation equipment.
Your main responsibilities include:
- Managing complex projects from order handover to delivery in close collaboration with local and global teams.
- Supporting / guiding the commercial team with technical expertise to ensure optimal solutions.
- Acting as a key technical contact for customers and stakeholders.
- Creating drawings, installation instructions (e.g., AutoCAD) and developing technical documentation.
- Programming and testing Consilium systems.
- Ensuring quality and compliance with standards such as ISO and AQAP.
Who you are:
You are proactive, organized, and communicative — someone who enjoys problem-solving and taking initiative. You pay attention to detail while keeping a holistic view and are eager to learn and grow in a technical environment.
We believe you have:
- A degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience in the marine industry or related sectors; ideally with navy projects or complex technical contracts.
- Preferably experience in fire and gas detection systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Fluency in German and business-level English (spoken and written).
- German citizenship (required for certain projects).
- Ideally, experience in programming, electrical engineering, and protocols (e.g. Modbus).
At Consilium, you’ll have the opportunity to grow both professionally and personally — in a purpose-driven company where we create safety in an uncertain world.
What we offer:
- A global role with real impact — helping shape the future of SafetyTech.
- Opportunities to work with world-leading technology and customers worldwide.
- A tight, supportive team where every voice matters.
- A culture that values initiative, diversity, and growth.
Apply now — and help us shape the future of SafetyTech.
