About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Summer Intern in Software Development & Testing to join our SMiG team at our Gothenburg office.
In this role, you will support the development and validation of the SMiG product by testing system functionality, identifying improvements, and contributing to small-scale development tasks. The internship combines hands-on troubleshooting, software testing, and development, offering practical experience in a real product environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for students who want to gain industry experience in software testing, debugging, and product validation within a technology-driven company.
Key Responsibilities
Test the SMiG product and identify bugs, issues, and potential improvements.
Perform smaller bug fixes and contribute to minor feature development.
Develop tools, scripts, or simulators to support testing and verification.
Example project: create a C2PG or CCP gas simulator to reproduce system behavior without physical hardware.
Analyze logs and test results to identify system improvements.
Collaborate with the development team to improve product quality.
Who We’re Looking For
We are looking for a curious and hands-on student who enjoys problem solving and learning new technologies.
You likely have:
Basic programming experience (Python, C#, Vue, or similar).
Interest in software testing, debugging, and quality assurance.
Ability to work independently with clearly defined tasks.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
