About the Role
As a Sales Executive, you will take an active role in driving the expansion of our Gas, Fire, and Flame Detection Systems across Brazil, with an initial focus on the marine sector while also identifying opportunities within the industrial, energy, and transportation markets.
This is an excellent opportunity to make your mark by growing our business in a strategic market. You will be responsible for developing new customer relationships, strengthening existing partnerships, and managing the complete sales process from prospecting through contract negotiation and closing.
You will work closely with our sales and engineering teams in the US and India, while collaborating with colleagues across our global organization. Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute the sales strategy for the Brazilian market in collaboration with local and global sales teams.
Identify and develop new business opportunities across your territory, with a primary focus on the marine industry.
Expand business within industrial, energy, and transportation sectors where opportunities exist.
Build and maintain strong relationships with shipyards, vessel owners and operators, engineering companies, distributors, service partners, and key decision-makers.
Identify opportunities within newbuild, retrofit, modernization, and service markets.
Lead the full sales cycle, including prospecting, technical discussions, solution proposals, pricing, negotiations, contract closing, and customer follow-up.
Work closely with engineering, product management, and service teams to deliver the best technical solutions and ensure high customer satisfaction.
Monitor market developments, competitor activities, customer needs, and relevant industry regulations.
Represent the company at customer meetings, trade shows, technical seminars, and other industry events throughout Brazil and neighboring countries when required.
Support key projects from tender stage through delivery while ensuring customer expectations and internal processes are aligned.
Conduct customer visits, product demonstrations, technical presentations, and virtual meetings.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts, opportunity pipelines, and customer activities using our CRM system.
Meet or exceed monthly and annual sales targets and key performance indicators.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
Minimum of five years of sales experience within the marine industry, preferably involving safety systems, automation, electronics, instrumentation, or other technical solutions.
Demonstrated success in developing new business and growing customer accounts.
Strong commercial mindset with a proactive, customer-focused approach.
Ability to understand technical specifications and communicate complex solutions in a clear and practical way.
Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills.
Comfortable working independently while collaborating with international teams.
Experience using CRM systems, Microsoft 365, and other business software.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
Brazilian citizen or permanent resident. A valid US visa is considered an advantage but is not required.
Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
Willingness to travel up to 30%, including occasional short-notice travel.
