Your Role

As part of our digital transformation strategy, we are accelerating the adoption of AI and modern digital solutions across the organization. By integrating Artificial Intelligence into business processes, enterprise applications, and decision-making, we aim to improve efficiency, enhance user experiences, and create lasting business value.

We are looking for a creative and user-focused UI/UX Engineer to join our Shared Service Center in Kochi, India. In this role, you will design intuitive, accessible, and engaging user experiences across our enterprise applications while collaborating closely with Power Platform Engineers, AI Solutions Engineers, Data Engineers, Power BI Developers, and business stakeholders.

You'll play a key role in creating modern interfaces, establishing design standards, and developing reusable design components that ensure consistency across Microsoft technologies, including Power Apps, Power BI, Power Pages, Copilot experiences, and other enterprise applications.

What You'll Do

As a UI/UX Engineer, you will:

• Design modern, intuitive, and visually engaging user interfaces for enterprise applications and digital solutions.

• Improve the user experience across Power Apps, Power BI reports, Power Pages, Microsoft Copilot experiences, and other Microsoft-based business applications.

• Collaborate closely with development teams to create user-centric designs that improve usability, accessibility, and adoption.

• Develop wireframes, user flows, mockups, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using modern design tools.

• Create and maintain reusable UI components, templates, icons, and design assets to promote consistency across enterprise solutions.

• Apply UI/UX best practices, accessibility standards, responsive design principles, and Microsoft design guidelines.

• Conduct user research, gather feedback, and continuously refine designs based on business and user needs.

• Work alongside developers throughout implementation to ensure designs are translated accurately into production.

• Contribute to the evolution of the organization's design standards and design system.

• Stay current with emerging UI/UX trends, Microsoft design practices, AI-driven user experiences, and digital workplace innovations.

About You

We're looking for someone who is passionate about creating exceptional digital experiences and enjoys collaborating with both business users and technical teams.

You have:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Digital Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

• At least 2 years of experience designing UI/UX solutions for enterprise applications, business intelligence dashboards, or digital business solutions.

• A strong understanding of user experience design, interaction design, usability, accessibility, typography, colour theory, and visual hierarchy.

• Experience with modern design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar platforms.

• Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design principles.

• A basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (considered an advantage).

• Familiarity with Microsoft's Fluent Design System or other enterprise design systems (preferred).

• Excellent visual design skills, creativity, and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.

• A portfolio demonstrating UI/UX projects, prototypes, personal work, or professional experience.
